Christmas, also known as the Feast of the Nativity, is an annual holiday celebrated on December 25th to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. The holiday has its origins in the Christian religion, and is one of the most important events in the Christian calendar.

According to Christian beliefs, Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph. Angels announced his birth to shepherds who came to see the baby and spread the news of his birth. Later, three wise men from the east, guided by a star, came to visit the baby Jesus and brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Over time, Christmas has become a global holiday celebrated by people of all faiths and cultures. It is often marked by gift-giving, festive decorations, and gatherings with family and friends. While the religious significance of Christmas remains important to many people, the holiday has also come to represent a time of peace, joy, and goodwill toward all.
